Mediatheque

Monday February 18, 2008

I’m kicking myself. It took me a year-and-a-half to find out there’s a real library in Phnom Penh, with library cards, an adult and children’s section filled with books and strips, CDs, DVDs, the whole lot! It’s CCF’s (Centre Culturel Français) Médiatheque. Of course most books are in French, but that’s fine by me. Besides, they do have a large collection of English-language books too, especially about Cambodia.

I registered for a library card today, and took home my first book: “Maquette & mise en page – typographies, conception graphique, couleurs et communication et le web …” by Pierre Duplan, Roger Jauneau and Jean-Pierre Jeaneau.
